TEAM FORMATION

• Team lists, schedules and coaching information will be posted on the website.

• Low registration in any age group means that divisions may be combined in a two-year age grouping to form a division.

•There is no guarantee of space in the festival for any entries as there are a limited number of spaces in each division. Players on the wait list will be placed on teams as space becomes available.

• Team managers will contact all their players during the week before the festival

and will distribute T-shirts and programs at the Opening Ceremonies.

 

OPENING CEREMONIES

• Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 am. (sharp)

• Teams meet their coaches at Lochside Park from 10:00 am on

and then assemble behind their national team flag bearer.

 

FESTIVAL FORMAT

• All teams play 6-a-side games.

• Each team plays 4 games.

• Field size varies by age division: U7 to U10 play on quarter fields U11 to U18 play on half fields

 

NOTES TO PARENTS AND COACHES

It is very important that you complete and return the registration form well before the early entry deadline.

Delay will result in players being placed on a wait list and possibly not finding space in the tournament.

The popularity and unique nature of World Cups mean that the number of entries determines:

• the number and composition of the teams to be formed.

• the schedule for the 3-day tournament which involves over 100 games.

• the publishing of the souvenir program which includes team lists and the schedules.

 

Players are requested to carpool as parking is very limited.

which is to have fun and make new friends.
